Study of considerable reaction parameters influencing photocatalytic dye degradation activity

  • 1. School of Nanoscience and Technology, Shivaji University Kolhapur (India)

Description

The sustainability development goal contains the access to clean and safe drinking water is need for good human health and wellbeing. For purification of water, we have explored the photocatalytic treatment due to their many advantages over other purification treatment for Congo Red dye degradation. We have synthesized and utilized the magnetically separable zinc ferrite spinel material for photocatalytic Congo Red dye degradation activity. We have observed some negligible parameters that influence a lot in photocatalytic dye degradation process and its activity. We have also observed and separated the role of dark dye adsorption reaction from photocatalytic dye degradation reaction
