The development of acoustic tomography for temperature measurement in fast reactors
Description
A research programme is underway at NRL Risley to investigate the use of tomography for the remote measurement of the properties of a medium. The technique can be used to measure density, temperature, and gas characteristics. This paper gives results which illustrate the application of the technique to the measurement of outlet temperature in an LMFBR. 1 ref., 8 figs
