Description
I and C revamping can cover a large range of solutions or modifications from the replacement of an obsolescent component to the complete revamping of the I and C for a plant unit. This revamping may be done for technical updating or for economic advantages due to functional improvements made possible by higher performance instrumentation or more sophisticated processing. The purpose of this paper is to describe the experience acquired in the field of I and C revamping using several examples
