Method of alpha-particle spectrum analysis applied to the measurement of plutonium, americium and curium
Description
A simple procedure for determining peak ratios in α-particle spectra especially of Pu, Am and Cm is presented. It has been applied to the analysis of spectra measured from electro-deposited sources with surface-barrier detectors and it is shown that the results are in agreement with those obtained from mass-spectrometric measurements.
