Description
Purpose: To improve the calculation accuracy for reactor core performance while avoiding insufficient estimation for thermal power by classifying the outputs from neutron detectors in symmetric disposition into groups by a signal grouping device and a signal calibration device and by taking the maximum value in each of the group as the output signal. Constitution: Detection outputs from neutron detectors disposed in a reactor core are applied by way of a signal correction device to a signal grouping device where they are grouped on every output signals from the detectors disposed at symmetrical positions in the reactor core. The maximum values on every groups are selected by a signal calibration device, processed in a signal normalizing device, a neutron flux distribution calculation device, a thermal power distribution calculation device and the like. The insufficient estimation for the thermal power and the burn-up degree can be avoided even if there are differences between the detection outputs from the detectors at the symmetrical positions and the accuracy of the performance calculation for the reactor core can be improved.
