Fission zirconium in irradiated nuclear fuels by spectrophotometry

Description
The method covers the quantitative determination of zirconium in known volumes of aqueous solutions of nuclear fuels. Although the method is limited to solutions containing a minimum of 0.5 μg of fission zirconium per sample, as little as 0.1 μg can be detected. The method includes a discussion of interference, apparatus, reagents and materials, cell matching, calibration and standardization, procedure, calculations, and precision
