Solution of radioactivity logging inverse problem by regularization method

Description

The general inverse problem of radioactivity logging is presented. The comparative analysis of the known methods for its solution is given. It is concluded, that the Tihonov method is the most perspective one. The solution of the general inverse problem of radioactivity logging is reduced to the solution of the non-obvious operator equation of the 1-st type with the approximately given by operator regularization method. The algorithm of the approximative solution of the inverse problem of gamma-gamma logging of single scattering is given
