The CEGB in concert

Description

The Public Inquiry, held to consider the CEGB proposal to build a second nuclear power station at Sizewell in Suffolk, is discussed. The chosen design includes a PWR type reactor. The following aspects of the Inquiry and of the background to the proposal are included: public funding for objectors; reactor safety; availability of information; economics; energy policy in relation to energy conservation and to alternative energy sources.
