Method for thorium transforming into complex compound
Description
A method has been proposed for selective transformation of thorium into a complex compound with an organic reagent p-dimethylarsenazo 3 for express photometric determination of thorium. The method makes it possible to determine thorium in technological solutions containing thorium, calcium, phosphorus in a ratio 1:7500:7500 without preliminary separation of calcium and phosphorus. With the help of this method H-5 nx101 g/l of thorium can be detected with an error +-5%. The time of single determination is 2 hours. The synthesis of p-dimethylarsenazo 3 is described
