Penetration of 2.75 MeV γ-rays through shielding slabs of graphite, aluminium, steel and lead

Description
Experimentally determined angular and scalar flux spectra are presented for 2.75 MeV source photons of disc geometry penetrating shielding slabs of graphite, aluminium, steel and lead. The scalar flux spectra are compared with calculated values using the SAM-F Monte Carlo code. The data presented can be used in the assessment of calculational methods. (author)
