Production and investigation of beryllium pebbles with fine grain structure for the HCPB breeder blanket

Description

This paper presents first results of fabrication and characterization of beryllium pebbles with fine grain microstructure produced by powder metallurgy. Microstructure and chemical composition, as well as packing density and pebble size distributions for the pebbles produced, are presented.
