Seminar on design basis accidents of WWER-type nuclear power plants

The national seminar on design basis accidents of WWER type nuclear power plants was held on October 19, 1988 in Bratislava (CS). The objective was to exchange views on intentions and the current state of art in the following areas: development of events and of operating conditions of nuclear power plants leading to design basis accidents; evaluation of radiation consequences of such accidents; radiation protection aspects of such accidents and specificities of monitoring the surroundings of nuclear power plants in case of such accidents, with emphasis on teledosimetry.
