Medico-sociological aspects of publications on the restricted zone in home press

Description

The purpose of this study is to investigate the qualimetric characteristics of home publications in the post-Chernobyl period (1986-1994): quantitative dynamics; the problematic and topical spectrum; specificity of the communicative model from the standpoint of influence on the physiological and emotional stress of population. The analysis of 9285 publications including 4460 Ukrainian publications has been carried out. It is found that in the post-Chernobyl period the publications on the medico sociological aspects of the 30-kilometer zone compose about 30% of all the publications. Periodization of the number of publications on the problems in the 30-km zone is described as well as peculiarities of the communicative model (its genre and lexical forms). The problematic and subject spectrum of these publications is discussed
