Synthesis of new oxonitrides with pyrochlore structure
Description
Nitridation of pyrochlore phases of Ln2Ti2O7 (Ln=Y, Dy, Sm) by ammonia at 1000 deg C was carried out. It is shown that the utmost attainable composition of oxonitrides is ∼ Ln2Ti2O5.5N. Exposure for more than 8 h results in oxonitride dissociation, Ln2O3 and TiN being its final products
