Comparison of methods developed in Czechoslovakia for personnel dosimetry in mixed gamma radiation and fast neutron field

Description

A brief description of the experiment on determining the neutron flux density and exposure dose of gamma radiation, performed upon starting a WWR type reactor in Czechoslovakia is given. Various techniques for determining the above parameters are described, the values of parameters are presented. The results of the experiment have been the basis for comparing the methods of individual dosimetry in the mixed field of gamma radiation and fast neutrons. It has been shown that the dosimetric methods tested are applicable for the individual dosimetry with a sufficient degree of reliability
