Determination of the 'PA' value in redish-yellow soils of west Sichuan plain

Description
The results of determiation of the supplying ability of phosphorus-'A' value by using 32P at different growing stages of wheat and rice have shown that 'A' value at tillering stage is significantly correlated only with the amount of phosphorus uptake by plant. The 'A' value at the heading stage is not correlated with either. Therefore, the 'A' value determination at or about 6-weeks growing stage can sensitively estimate the availability of soil phosphorus
