Practical remarks about the application of electron capture detector in the chromatographic trace analysis

The influence of annealing time of new chromatographic column on the detectability of electron capture detector has been presented. The manner of purity estimation of applied carrier gas and the outflow of the liquid phase of the column has been given by the measurement of Ksub(D) constant considering the losses of electrons in detector in other processes than formation of negative ions. The influence of annealing time of chromatographic column on the sensitivity of detection of the measuring set has been illustrated by the example of lindane determination. (author)
