Volume diffusion of rhenium in tungsten

  • 1. AN SSSR, Sverdlovsk. Inst. Fiziki Metallov

Description

Volume diffusion of 186Re in tungsten at 1800-2600 deg C is investigated. The coefficients of volume diffusion of rhenium in tungsten have been determined by means of the radiometric layer-by-layer analysis. The value of activation energy of rhenium volume diffusion in tungsten turns to be lower than the selfdiffusion activation energy by analogy with regularities observed in investigation of impurities diffusion in fcc metals being in the same series with the solvent
