SuperKEKB main ring tunnel motion
- 1. High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), Tsukuba, Ibaraki (Japan)
Description
Effects of the construction of new facility buildings along the SuperKEKB tunnel are reported. The tunnel level changes due to the newly excavated tunnel for the KEK PF-AR injector, which are continuously monitored by the SuperKEKB HLS (Hydrostatic Leveling Sensor) system, are also shown. The SuperKEKB tunnel motion due to such heavy construction is summarized, along with the effects of the uncontrolled tunnel temperature on magnet alignment. (author)
