QCD sum rules and weak transitions in kaon physics

Description
The applications of QCD sum rules to the derivation of bounds on the matrix elements of four-quark operators appearing in the ΔS=1 sector of the weak Hamiltonian are analyzed and discussed. The application to the calculation of ε'/ε and K → 2π amplitudes is presented. The dependence on the renormalization point μ and the momentum continuation in amplitudes are also analyzed. 23 refs., 6 figs. (author)
