Neutron method of measuring the soil moisture and calibration of neutron sonds

Description
The neutron sonds are with finite dimensions. The moisture is measured in volume with cylindrical geometry. The theoretical calibration of neutron sonds in cylindrical geometry and in finite medium is considered. An empiric method for sonds calibration is given. A comparison and analysis of the curves, obtained by theoretical, empiric and experimental method is made. (author)
