A measuring technique for kinetic and dosimetric investigations after radioiodine treatment
Description
A measuring technique is described that provides information on the kinetic behaviour of iodine 131 in radioiodine-treated patients. Repeated measurements of the activity of the patients' hands permitted the absorption and elimination rates to be assessed. Further studies using this technique also pointed to the fact that the uptake of iodine 131 is considerably improved by previous administration of antiemetics. (TRV)

(TRV)Additional details
