Use of complex program 'TS-2' for processing geophysical exploration data using electronic computers to study productive carbonate reservoirs with compound structure of porous space

Information is presented on testing of a somewhat modified Ts-2 program for processing of commercial geophysical data on computers, under carbonaceous deposit conditions, as found in the Pripyat' Depression, which is characterized by collectors with complex types of porous space. In developing the algorithm and the Ts-2-40 program for determining the overall porosity in accordance with neutron-gamma logging (NGL) data, standardization of the NGL instruments was used for the case of heterogeneous media, which allows (unlike earlier proposed methods of porosity evaluations) the construction of reference models of dependencies with consideration of their lithological differences (dolomites and limestones). The satisfactory correlation of results of lithological determinations, porosity, and petroleum saturations, obtained through manual and machine processing of logging data, are demonstrated. (author)
