Cross-section measurements for the 13C(p,n) 13N and 12C(d,n) 13N nuclear reactions

Description

The cross-sections for the reactions producing nitrogen-13 from carbon-13 and from carbon-12 have been measured over an energy range between threshold and 20 MeV utilizing a gaseous carbon dioxide target and a Tandem Van de Graaff accelerator. Experimental data for both of the reactions are compared graphically
