Description
In energy-economic discussions, broad scope is given to renewable energy sources. The paper discusses the current state of matters and the outlook for the future of energy supply in Germany on the basis of renewable energy sources. An overview of the state of the art of all renewable energies to be effectively used in Germany is given, their technical potentials are pointed out, their current harnessing is discussed, and the costs of energy supply on these respective bases are indicated. Selected environmental effects are also discussed. Finally, an outlook on the opportunities for further enhancing renewable energy use is given against the background of the energy-economic conditions prevailing in Germany. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
In den energiewirtschaftlichen Diskussionen nimmt die Nutzung regenerativer Energien einen breiten Raum ein. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden der Stand und die Perspektiven der Nutzung regenerativer Energien fuer die Energieversorgung Deutschlands aufgezeigt. Dabei wird ein Ueberblick ueber den Stand aller in Deutschland sinnvoll nutzbaren erneuerbaren Energien gegeben, ihre technischen Potentiale dargestellt, ihre derzeitige Nutzung eroertert sowie auf die entsprechenden Energiebereitstellungskosten eingegangen. Auch werden ausgewaehlte Umwelteffekte diskutiert. Abschliessend wird ein Ausblick ueber die Moeglichkeiten einer weitergehenden Nutzung dieses regenerativen Energieangebots vor dem Hintergrund der energiewirtschaftlichen Gegebenheiten in Deutschland gegeben.
