Description

A Computer-Controlled System (CCS) designed for Plasma Focus Installation IPF-4/5A (1 MA plasma current and 40 kJ energy stored at 20 kV charging voltage) is presented. The CCS, based on the CAMAC standard, applies 23 interlocked logical commands, acquires and processes 28 logical states and three slow time varying signals, representing working gas pressure, switch triggering system charging voltage and condenser bank charging voltage. The programmes were written in 8080 assembly language using RSX-11M operating system on CORAL 4200 minicomputer. (Author)
