Cr3+ ion ESR spectrum in yttrium-aluminium garnet

Description
The Cr3+ ion ESR spectrum has been investigated in the series of garnets grown under different conditions with chromium impurity. Spin Hamiltonian constants are determined at the liquid nitrogen temperature (g=1.953, D=0.256 cm-1) and room temperature (g=1.959, D=0.251 cm-1). Experimental angular dependences of fine transitions of Cr3+ ions in octahedron sites are obtained. It has been found that the conditions of growth probably do not affect the crystalline structure at least the octahedron complexes
