Separation and isolation of transplutonium elements from other actinoids on ionites from aqueous and aqueous-ethanol solutions of sulfuric acid
Description
A study was made on Am, Cm, Bk, Cf, Es and other actinoid behaviour, as well as Zr on anionites and cationites in aqueous and aqueous-ethanol solutions of sulfuric acid, depending on concentration of various solution components. It was revealed, that alcohol presence in sulfuric acid solutions resulted to increase of distribution coefficients both on cationites and on anionites. Possibility of using ionites for TPE concentration and separation from U, Np, Pu, Zr and other elements, forming strong complexes sulfate ions in wide range of sulfuric acid concentrations was shown
