X-ray imaging and reconstruction of a detonation front
Description
We performed an axi-symmetric, two-dimensional experiment on the high-explosive LX-14. We used low-energy X-rays to image the detonation front at multiple times. The experiment provides a stringent test of radiographic unfolding techniques and has the potential to provide high-pressure data on the equation of state of the explosive
