Extraction of transplutonium elements with diphenyl(alkyl)dialkylcarbamoylmethyl phosphine oxides

Description

Polydentate neutral organophosphorus compounds attract great interest as efficient extractants of transplutonium element (TPE) from acid waste nuclear fuel element solutions. With the view of a further search, the reagents (phosphonate derivatives) were synthetized and investigated. The solubility of reagents was investigated in organic solvents and in nitric acid solutions. (author)
