Nuclear radiation: laws, measurement, calculations, statistics

The book presents a modern textbook of a significant part of nuclear chemistry. It can serve not only as a quality supplement to lectures, but also as literature for independent study. It can be used for all three levels of university study, but also for those interested and practitioners. The publication, which deals with calculations in the fields of nuclear chemistry and partly also in nuclear physics, and is suitable not only for students. The method of teaching focused on calculations has a practical aspect and broadens the horizons devoted to the practical side to readers. In the submitted university textbook, which follows on from the previous edition of 2017, the physical constants according to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, quantities and units according to the currently valid legislation, and examples in which these constants, quantities or units appear have been updated. Chapter 4 Measurement of ionizing radiation, dosimetry and metrology has been significantly enriched. (authors)
