Description

After intravenous injection of N-isopropyl-p-123I-amphetamine (IAP) into mice, the course of radioactivity was determined in blood, brain, heart, lungs and liver. The radioactivity is immediately extracted from the blood, within the first 15 min it decreases to less than 1% dose/g followed by a slow increase up to 2% dose/g at 240 min. In the brain a maximal accumulation of 11.3% dose/g is reached after 30 min with a brain to blood ratio of 13.7. (author)
