A super-Weyl-invariant spinning membrane

  • 1. State Univ. of New York, Stony Brook (USA). Inst. for Theoretical Physics

Description

We present a super-Weyl-invariant spinning membrane, both in superspace and in component form. To do this, we give the explicit relation between D=3 superspace and component supergravity. The model is an explicit counterexample to a recent ''no-go theorem'' for spinning membranes. (orig.)
