Critical state model and ac susceptibility of high temperature superconductors

Description
A critical state model for granular superconductors is applied to find the temperature and ac magnetic field dependence of the complex ac susceptibility, χ=χ'+iχ'', of a granular bulk YBa2Cu3O7 superconductor. The predictions of the model are consistent with our measured ac susceptibilities. (orig.)
