New geochronological data for the deformed granites from the Itacaiunas River (Serra dos Carajas, Para State, Brazil): stratigraphic implications

Description
The work studies the deformed granites from the Itacaiunas River, located at Para State, Brazil. At first, it presents geological data of this region and relates the geochronological studies realized by the zircon Lead evaporation method. The new geochronological data presented in this paper establishes a minimum age for the deformed granite situation outcroping at the Itacaiunas River margin
