Description
It is ascertained that adrenocorticotropic hormone fragment, synthetic ACTG4-7Pro-Git-Pro peptide, effects positively the conditioned reflex activity of fishes and produces a stimulating effect on RNA and protein synthesis by including 3H-lencine into water-soluble and membrane-bound proteins of the fish brain. The detected phenomena point out to the necessity of further investigation into the effect of different neuropeptides on functional and molecular properties of CNS of fishes with regard for comparatively physiological aspect and for possible prospects of applying biologically active compounds for the purpose of increasing the quality of fish hatchery products
