A tilted plane as a gravitational field model

The use of a tilted plane as a two-dimensional, uniform gravitational field as a sixth-form physics experiment to demonstrate the motion of projectiles fairly close to the earth over a limited range, is described. The theory of the model is examined and the possibilities considered of the apparatus as an instructional aid. (U.K.)
