Synthesis and characterization of a new gallium N2S2 complex for myocardial imaging

Description

A new bisaminoethanethiol (BAT) ligand has been synthesized and labelled with gallium-67 and gallium-68. The complex has been characterized by elemental analysis, infrared and proton NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. The aqueous chemistry has been studied using a gallium-67 complex. Biodistribution studies have been conducted in rats with a gallium-67 complex and in a monkey with a gallium-68 complex
