Description
The heating, ventilating, and air- conditioning (HVAC) requirements for facilities using radioactive materials are discussed in this paper. These facilities include nuclear power plants, fuel fabrication and processing plants, plutonium processing plants, and, to a lesser degree, hospitals, corporate and academic research facilities, housing nuclear operations or materials. The information presented here serves as a guide to dealing with radioactive materials. However, no review can be all- inclusive, therefore, careful and individual analysis of each system is required
