Description

Concept of shore small power NPP without on-site refueling of different purpose based on use of fast neutron reactor cooled by lead-bismuth is presented. Experience in development and operation of these reactors gained in Russia. The reactor meets the strictest requirements on safety and environmental protection, appreciably reduced quantity of radioactive waste and simplifies operation and maintenance of shore NPP units.
