Local study of the liner of a prestressed PWR containment in the vicinity of penetrations

Description
In the case of 900 MWe PWR containment, this study shows that for an internal pressure of 1 MPa, tears in the liner are not previsible because its low level of plastic deformation. Inversely, for pressure near the ultimate pressure (1,25 MPa), the studs in the proximity of the insert show strong plastic deformations. In these conditions, a study seems necessary to get a better insight for evaluating the link between the stud and the liner. (author)
