On-line correlation measurement in a plasma

  • 1. Institute of Plasma Physics, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan

Description

An on-line system to measure correlation functions in a plasma is described. By combining a fast buffer memory and a digital computer, the system can analyze signals with up to 4 MHz bandwidth and has direct applications to pulsed plasmas. Hardware and software for the system are described together with a few applications.
