Description

Using a powerful frequency stabilized cw dye laser the two-photon technique was applied to barium. The detailed structure of high lying energy levels was precisely measured. Thus the isotope shift and hyperfine splitting could be determined. (orig.)

Mit Hilfe eines starken, frequenzstabilisierten cw-Farbstofflasers wurde die Zweiphotonentechnik auf Barium angewandt. Die Detailstruktur hochliegender Energieniveaus wurde genau gemessen, so dass Isotopenverschiebung und Hyperfeinaufspaltung bestimmt werden konnten. (orig.)
