Flavor-symmetry breaking and strong CP violation in the Skyrme model
Description
Both the strong CP-violating π-nucleon coupling g-bar and the explicit isospin-breaking contribution to the neutron-proton mass difference Δm/sub n//sub -//sub p/ are considered in the Skyrme model. An interesting qualitative difference between the two- and three-flavor cases is noted. A relationship between g-bar and Δm/sub n//sub -//sub p/ is used to deduce that g-bar≅-0.024θ in the chiral-solitonic bag model
