Increased power at the Cofrentes nuclear power centre

Description
Since June 2002, Cofrentes has been operating at an authorised thermal power rating of 3,184 MW, 110% of the original power. This is the highest power increased reached in Spain until now. The article summarises the most significant aspects of this power increase project (APE-110%) and its evaluation by the Nuclear Safety Council. (Author)
