Description

The computing method on the anisotropy factors is investigated to monitor the D-T neutron yield using the associated particle measurement. The anisotropy factor data in the range of 20∼600 keV deuteron beam energy are presented for 135° associated particle measurement. The uncertainty of the anisotropy factor data is roughly estimated to be about 1.4%. A 135° associated particle measurement system is developed in ZF-300 neutron generator at Lanzhou University. An experimental test on the associated particle system is performance. The experimental results show the influence from the charged particle produced by the reaction from fast neutron and Si-detector. The uncertainty of D-T neutron yield measurement is not greater than 2%. (authors)
