Evolution of legal aspects of the atomic materials and lithium

In view of the numerous and various inquiries, external and internal, received concerning the legal situation wherein natural atomic materials (uranium and thorium) and lithium currently are, and after the several modifications the legal System that regulates them has suffered, the Legal Consultation Office of the Comision Chilena de Energia Nuclear has deemed necessary to make a brief account of the evolution legislation has experienced in this respect. Our aim is but presenting, systematically and simply, how law has dealt with the natural atomic materials and lithium, so that the reader, needing neither deep research and analyses nor juridical formation, may have a clear vision of the legal situation wherein these substances currently are.
