Status of the ASDEX tokamak

Description

The present status of the ASDEX divertor tokamak and its main components is given. The toroidal field coils and the 'inner' poloidal field coils are complete and have largely been tested. The test results are reported. The divertor field coils will be delivered this autumn. The vacuum vessel is being prepared for installation. The design principle and status of the vacuum system, the power supply and the control systems are described. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wird ueber den gegenwaertigen Stand des Divertor-Tokamak ASDEX und seiner wichtigsten Komponenten berichtet. Die toroidalen Feldspulen und die 'inneren' poloidalen Feldspulen sind fertiggestellt und wurden ausgiebig getestet. Ueber die Testergebnisse wird berichtet. Die Divertor-Feldspulen werden in diesem Herbst ausgeliefert. Der Vakuumbehaelter wird fuer den Einbau vorbereitet. Es werden das Bauprinzip und der Stand des Vakuumsystems, die Energieversorgung und die Kontrollsysteme beschrieben. (orig.)
