A statistical approach to nondiffractive hadron-hadron collisions

Creators

  • 1. Fachbereich Physik, Freie Universitat Berlin, Berlin (Germany, F.R.)

Description

It is shown that the striking properties in multiplicity distribution, rapidity distribution, long-rane and short-range correlations observed in high-energy nondiffractive hadron-hadron collision processes, in particular the existence of ''spike events'', can be readily understood in terms of a statistical model
