Application of collective health education in patients with hyperthyroidism undergoing 131I

Description
Objective: To explore the methods of health education for patients with hyperthyroidism undergoing 131I, so to enhance their self-care ability, improve the cure rate and reduce the nursing workload. Methods: On the basis of the daily health education for each patient, the group of patients who were about to undergo 131I were treated with the collective health education, including the pre service, middle and post education and re-examination. Results: This method was used to carry out health education for patients with hyperthyroidism 131I It can increase the compliance of disease treatment and nursing care of patients, improve the self-care ability of patients, decrease the nursing care and disease related complications, improve the cure rate. Conclusion: Collective health education is a better education method for 131I patients with hyperthyroidism. (authors)
